Laurie Burdman Recognized for Excellence in Dentistry

Laurie Burdman utilizes her broad experience to excel as a dentist

With 10 years of professional experience, Dr. Burdman has extensive experience in all facets of cosmetic and general dentistry. She established her practice, Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, three years ago and has grown the facility through her excellent care and patient referrals. Her responsibilities as a dentist entail fixing bridges, crowns and dentures, supervising a hygienist and office manager, and marketing. She treats children and adults. She is also a member of the West Pasco Dental Association, the West Coast District Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Having completed her General Practice Dental Residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry, Dr. Burdman obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery, with a minor in Pediatric Dentistry, from the University at Buffalo in 2000 and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Biology from the University at Albany. During her residency, she focused on comprehensive dental care for medically complex patients. She served as an adjunct staff member at Louisiana State University and worked in the HIV outpatient clinic at New Orleans Veterans Hospital and the Biloxi Veterans Hospital. After obtaining her post-graduate degree, she moved to Washington D.C., where she worked on Capitol Hill in a private practice focusing on cosmetic dentistry. In her spare time, she volunteers at Judeo Christian Health Clinic, Inc., and she attributes her success to her hard work.
